The Clan Forbes Society has published a new clan guide that is clear and accurate -- unlike many other versions peddled by Scottish shops. This new 32-page full-color booklet Clan Forbes: Heritage & Legacy includes the origin of the clan, a summary of the clan’s impact in Scottish history, a graphic representation of the major branches and cadet houses, brief descriptions of 12 of the more notable castles and mansion houses, and 25 short biographies of Forbeses of distinction. The guide is only available to 2023 Active Members and Patron Members of the Clan Forbes Society.
